2020 Census Information
census The US Census has reached out to school districts to help with accurate reporting. This is important so our families can receive all benefits they are entitled to. The 2020 Census will impact the federal funds that schools receive each year for special education, classroom technology, teacher training, after-school programs, school lunch assistance, and more. It will also affect billions in funds for other community services. Your students count on you every day. Here is your chance to help shape the future, not only for them but for your whole community.

Dear Austintown Community,

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful summer. I am extremely honored to have been selected by the Board of Education as your new Superintendent. I look forward to working with district staff to continue providing a quality learning experience for our students as they explore their interests and find their true passions.

The community of Austintown has deep rooted history and traditions that I look forward to carrying on as we progress into the future. I will work closely with our board and meet with all stakeholders to gain insight on how we can best support each other during this period of growth.

We all play a role in the success of our students and as your superintendent, I plan to be accessible and maintain an open door communication policy. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have at 330-797-3900 ext. 1510.

I look forward to many exciting years to come.

Educationally,

David Cappuzzello
