Open Enrollment (Non-Austintown Residents)

Please be aware that Open Enrollment students are NOT eligible for district transportation.   Current Open Enrollment Students
For the 2023-2024 school year, all currently enrolled Open Enrollment students must have a completed INTENT TO RETURN online form to maintain their enrollment.  Click here to complete the Intent to Return by April 20, 2023.

NEW Open Enrollment Students

Open Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year is CLOSED.

This application must be completed by May 19, 2023. Open Enrollment will close before the first day of school.  At that time, no further open enrollment applications will be accepted for the 2023-2024 school year.  You will be notified by mail over the summer with both acceptance and denial information.  
 

Dates	Important Information
*February-May 19, 2023	Online Application form accepted. Click here to fill out the New Students Application Form.
*Week of June 12, 2023	Notification letters, both accepted and denied, will be mailed out.
*July 17, 2023	Completed registration packets due by appointment ONLY. Printed registration packets are available at the board office between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. or can be found at this link: Student Registration Packet

Open Enrollment OUT to another District (e.g., Resident student, but attends Jackson-Milton, Weathersfield etc.)

Please complete the Registration form (can be picked up at Registration Office or downloaded from our website), include birth certificate and proof of residency.  No appointment is necessary.  Drop off information and your student will be registered in Austintown but shown as attending another district.
